VidApp is a no-code, intuitive app builder built for video content creators — empowering wellness and fitness brands to turn their content into subscription-based apps. As Lead Designer, I reimagined the core builder experience — simplifying complex workflows, improving usability for non-technical users, and elevating the visual design across both the builder and the end product. Over a year-long collaboration with product and engineering, I delivered a more scalable, templated system that made launching an app feel as seamless as uploading a video library.

THE LANDSCAPE
As the creator economy grew, wellness coaches and content brands needed scalable ways to monetise video — but platforms like YouTube lacked ownership, and custom apps were too expensive. VidApp filled the gap with a no-code platform for launching branded apps fast. Their exisiting builder was too complex for non-technical users. That’s where I came in — to redesign the experience for plug-and-play usability, introduce scalable templates, and elevate the visual system to match the brand’s ambitions.

That meant removing friction, simplifying workflows, and guiding users through a templated setup without sacrificing flexibility or brand expression. We designed for clarity over customization, flow over overwhelm — empowering creators to launch confidently, on their own terms. As Lead Designer, I partnered with product and engineering to rework the builder UX, establish a scalable design system, and align the experience with VidApp’s creator-first mission.
